We carry the original name Borikén in our hearts, honoring Taíno, Spanish, and African roots through every story we carefully bring forward.
We publish narratives of Puerto Rican women, the dreamers, warriors, and artists whose resilience, grace, and fire light a path for daughters and granddaughters everywhere.
Every book, journal, and coaching conversation carries a torch of legacy, inviting women to write stories that protect heritage and build generational pride.
Jacqueline Jimenez, born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, is the founder of Boricua Legacy Publishing Company. As an Executive Business Coach and Certified Trust Financial Advisor, she is passionate about empowering Puerto Rican and Hispanic women to share their voices and create meaningful legacies through storytelling.
Her first book, Boricua Legacy: The Women Who Made History, begins a three-book series highlighting the stories of 12 iconic Puerto Rican women. Through these stories, Jacqueline hopes to inspire others to embrace their own Hero’s Journey and create their own Boricua legacy.
